Board of PeaceAn initiative of Patriot Principles Project

Peace Is Not a Brand. It Is a Practice.

Board of Peace is a citizen-centered civic initiative dedicated to promoting peace through service, nonviolence, constitutional accountability, and practical conflict resolution.

Peace is built through everyday choices: dialogue over escalation, service over spectacle, responsibility over cynicism, and civic courage over silence.

Board of Peace helps individuals, communities, and organizations take practical steps toward a more peaceful public life.

What We Stand For

We believe peace is not something reserved for powerful people, formal boards, elite gatherings, or symbolic declarations. Peace is built by citizens and communities through daily acts of restraint, service, courage, and responsibility.

  • Service

Peace grows when people look after one another—especially the vulnerable, isolated, threatened, or unheard.

  • Nonviolence

Peace requires discipline. It means choosing de-escalation, lawful civic action, and the dignity of others even in moments of disagreement.

  • Civic Integrity

Peace depends on trust. That means resisting misinformation, communicating honestly, and protecting public language from distortion or misuse.

  • Conflict Resolution

Peace is practiced in families, workplaces, neighborhoods, institutions, and public life whenever people choose dialogue over escalation.

Practical Tools for Peaceful Civic Life

Board of Peace provides free educational resources and guidance for people and organizations that want to promote peace in concrete, responsible, and constructive ways.

  • Practice Nonviolence

Prepare for peaceful assembly and nonviolent resistance, de-escalate conflict, and help protect the dignity and safety of others.

  • Serve Your Community

Support food banks, veterans, seniors, vulnerable neighbors, interfaith groups, and community organizations building trust across divides.

  • Defend Civic Integrity

Recognize misinformation, communicate transparently, and protect civic initiatives from distortion or misuse.

  • Resolve Conflict Constructively

Use practical tools for dialogue, mediation, disagreement, and peaceful problem-solving.

Peace, Not Spectacle.

In a divided public moment, peace can too easily become a slogan, a brand, or a stage for personal power. But peace is too important to be reduced to symbolism.

A serious commitment to peace begins with civic responsibility: how we speak, how we organize, how we disagree, how we serve, and how we hold institutions accountable to the public good.

Board of Peace exists to advance that broader civic vision.

Rooted in Constitutional Responsibility

Board of Peace is an initiative of Patriot Principles Project (PPP), a nonprofit organization committed to constitutional principles, accountable governance, civic responsibility, and the rule of law.

PPP believes that peaceable self-government depends on citizens, institutions, and leaders willing to defend the public trust, respect constitutional limits, and place the republic above personal power.
